It can be safely recommended for fans of the anime genre and not only due to its insane plot, colorful style, and modern mechanics. In the gameplay, you will be accompanied by unusual and enchanting music that perfectly complements each scene.
Your character is a high school student who leads a double life. At first glance, he cannot be envied: having moved to Tokyo to study, he is faced with cruelty and rejection of others due to the fact that he is on probation after standing up for a woman and having a fight with her abuser. But even feeling like an outcast, he manages to acquire like-minded people who become his faithful friends in a parallel universe.
Some of them are primary characters who go into battle with evil spirits and have various talents and weapons, and secondary characters guide the main characters and help them from time to time. It should be noted that you will play for the main character (codename Joker) both in his real-life when he goes to school, does a part-time job, plays sports, meets friends, etc. and when he goes with his team called the Phantom Thieves of Hearts whose purpose is to explore the Metaverse and eradicate evil thoughts in the hearts of people.

In our case, this is a lively girl named Korra. In her control are all four elements and the skills of repelling any attacks of magicians. But after a fatal encounter with the powerful magician who captured the powers of Korra, her goal is to restore her elemental abilities and connection with the spirits to become Avatar once again, as well as to pursue a malevolent old man. This journey is divided into several chapters, each of which, in turn, is divided into different segments.
The combination of combat moves and one of the types of magic allows you to create deadly blows, and you can also block, dodge, and deliver counterstrikes to the enemy. For all combinations played in the game, players receive special experience points that can be exchanged for valuable skills and goods, such as spare lives, bottles of health, the ability to summon the deity Raava at any time during the game, and so on. Strong opponents and the gradual opening of locations will satisfy both your research and combat requirements.
NieR: Automata
A game that can be described as a beautiful slasher with a multifaceted plot and many secrets closes the top three of my favorites. NieR: Automata will be a real discovery for you because it is difficult to compare it with any other game.
The game takes place on Earth, but not as we know it – people no longer live there, except a small group of rebels. The rest had to move to the moon due to the ongoing war with alien robots. But humanity still wants to return to its home, so those who left our planet have developed androids that can resist intruders and protect their creators. Players will play as such androids – 2B and her partner 9S, sent to the open world for research, quests, and deadly encounters with robots.
The combat system is simple to understand even for novice players: initiate a light attack or a heavy one with one click of a button, fight from afar or close, use swords, spears, and attack the enemy yourself or engage your android partner. With each acquired skill, the pumping of your next enemy also grows, but in addition to the fighting scenes, there are a lot of interesting conversations and dialogues in the game. The dynamic battles in NieR: Automata can be enjoyed with the same inspiring music, which helps a lot when you have to fend off attacks from multiple enemies at the same time. This story about humans, androids, and robots will take you to a new universe where it depends only on you how this war will end.
