What is the plot of Far Cry 6 from Ubisoft? A group of people from the younger generation does not reconcile and is fighting against the ruling of a dictator who imposes his totalitarian system in a place reminiscent of Cuba. The name of your protagonist character is Dani Rojas (you can choose the gender of your hero in the game settings), who initially planned to leave their native places, but in the end, turns out to be at the head of the revolution.
In general, nothing new awaits longtime fans of this series of games – this is an excellent opportunity to put your shooter skills to the test and get closer to the charismatic villain. By the way, the role of tough dictator Anton Castillo is played by Emmy nominee, American actor Giancarlo Esposito. This typical patriarchal tyrant is not at all sympathetic. At the same time, he tells his voters beautiful speeches about how the Yara island can be reborn and become a prosperous place. The majority of the population is forced to work hard on tobacco plantations. The ruling regime gets rid of incapacitated citizens. To look positive in the eyes of the world community, Castillo launches a campaign to produce cancer drugs while sacrificing the health and life of his fellow citizens.
In order to get to the unjust dictator, Dani will have to fight with the leaders of the regions, simultaneously committing sabotage, clearing outposts, and seizing soldiers’ bases. But be careful and ready to fight with Castillo’s battalion of elite troops, which he will direct at you when the damage you inflicted makes him angry.
With the game’s release, many players were worried about how convenient it would be to act and move in the huge open world of Far Cry 6. Of course, there really is something to explore in addition to the main campaign, but the player will be able to quickly reach, fly, or teleport to the location they need. As for life in the hot region of the Caribbean, it is more than vivid and active: you can find and capture camps, checkpoints and build military bases, collect and improve weapons, including anti-aircraft guns, engage in rooster fights (this character will be discussed further), spending time hunting, helping prisoners, and other activities that allow you to fully immerse yourself in life in wartime.
As you can see, you can’t do it alone, so now it’s time to talk about the most exciting and, perhaps, funny moment of Far Cry 6 – your, to put it mildly, unusual partners. Do not even expect to see people with improved skills among your constant companions. In the new series of games, you will be accompanied by your Amigos, namely a dog, crocodile, rooster, and panther. Lovely and bloodthirsty, each character also requires skill leveling and can inflict individual damage on opponents. Well, players who are going to try this game for the first time should be prepared for the creativity of the developers, not only with regard to the characters but also to the auxiliary objects and the course of the game in general.
A nice bonus in the outfit of the main character and various variations of weapons can be called a super-cool device called Supremo, which gives a powerful ability to the hero. This is something like a rocket launcher that Dani carries in a backpack. This weapon will also change its appearance, level, and damage coverage as the character is upgraded.
Far Cry 6 is a great video game for those who get frustrated with fast gameplay endings. Here players will find many hours of running, shooting, passing unusual missions, a varied arsenal of weapons, and while doing all this, will enjoy the exotic and fun atmosphere of the Caribbean island. A charismatic and brutal antagonist – check, spectacular battles with soldiers – check, the development of the Far Cry series, albeit without radical changes – check. Of course, the most picky players will be able to find weaknesses of the game, like the classic plot, but this should not scare you away from trying this game.
